So to preface I begin Army flight medic school in Dec of 2023. I called the school house to see if there was any prerequisites and the NCO I spoke to told me that I needed to have a valid flight physical at the beginning of each phase during the school. My current physical ends in June of 2024 which is only about halfway through my course. My birth month is August. The earliest I can get a new physical is June of 2024. My problem is that my F2 school starts in August of 2024 and with the way that FT Rucker is approving physicals there is no way my physical will be approved by the start of my F2. Will I get kicked from the course for this? Has anyone ever had this happen and how did it work for you? I will add all important dates at the bottom of this page. Thank you for all answers.

Flight physical expiration: June 2024
Birth month: August
F1 start date: Dec 4 2023
F2 start date: Aug 11 2024
F3 start date: Oct 17 2024

If I'm understanding your question correctly, you have nothing to worry about.

When you complete your flight physical you will be issued a DD Form 2992, the coveted up-slip. Don't leave your physical without it. That is all you need to remain flying.

It doesn't matter when Rucker reviews your physical. I have one from the late 80s that was never reviewed. As long as you have a signed up-slip you are GTG.
