In the United States taxation can not be Confiscatory Taxation. Under the U.S. Constitutional system courts are directed/will grant relief from perceived property, business and home confiscatory taxes upon legal appeal.

You always get what you vote for. Heck their taxes went up well over 100%, but they kept their right to abortion. Typically abortion has been used as birth control, so they are basically paying all this money for birth control and people who know no better than to throw money at problems and hope the problems go away. This is a guaranteed away be poor.

My city is going to import 5000 homeless drug addicts in hopes of getting a federal grant to help. Of course downtown is gone. Oh there are businesses open but you can't leave your car longer than 30 seconds.
