The DAV is a great resource to use at no cost. Don’t hire an attorney $$$$ you want a Vet to help you in any claims or appeals

Predatory law firms are just like "ambulance chasers," they'll only take a case certain to either win or get a large settlement.
Attorneys are NOT necessary for any claim Yes, SOMETIMES they can expedite things, but once a Vet filed an intent to file claim notice, they have a year to gather evidence, e.g. medical, buddy letters, etc. If they lose, they have another year to file either a Supplemental Claim (additional evidence) or a higher level review, or a Appeal to the VA Appeals Board and/or U.S Court.
FOR LEGITIMATE and ETHICAL HELP, the American Legion has great assistance to appeal and the have a 90-some percentage WIN RATE.
