I see so...many USAA ads on random shows or sports. They market to an audience to try to get the random veteran or civilian with military ties yet the decline in services is obvious. This marketing doesn't open their membership requirements. My sister can't join and I am okay with that, but they have a captive audience.
Their interest rates and insurance rates are no longer comparable. The money returned to members annually is way lower. I have moved on to Navy Federal. What do you think?

I will admit they don’t offer the deal that they have been in the past.

Because of the change in state handling of insurance post-Florida hurricanes, they all offer the same quality and rights now. This makes them too expensive now. Everyone is offering the same coverage, cheaper. In a nutshell.

I don't know if their marketing affects anything or not. What I DO know is that their rates have gotten so expensive I am actively looking for a more affordable insurance company to cover my vehicles.
