People seem more upset by the Service dogs that were left behind by the departing US Forces from Afghanistan, then the US citizens! There seems to be an inversion of values here. By some estimates there could as many as 6000 US Citizens left behind in Afghanistan! Does anyone even know?

Where did you get "6000 US Citizens left behind?" I'd like you to cite your source. I had heard there were some people who chose to stay with family.
From one day ago: https://thehill.com/policy/defense/570066-fewer-200-americans-remain-in-afghanistan-after-us-withdrawal
"Between 100 and 200 Americans who wanted to leave Afghanistan remain in the country following the final U.S. military withdrawal and evacuation efforts from Afghanistan.
U.S. Central Command leader Marine Corps Gen. Frank McKenzie told reporters during a briefing Monday afternoon in Washington that the Americans who wanted to leave and who were not evacuated number in the “very low hundreds.”"
"McKenzie later said he didn’t believe the U.S. military would have been able to evacuate the remaining Americans or at-risk Afghans even if troops had stayed past President Biden’s Aug. 31 deadline.
“There’s a lot of heartbreak associated with this departure. We did not get everybody out that we wanted to get out. but I think if we stayed another 10 days ... we wouldn’t have gotten everybody out that we wanted to get out, and there still would have been people who would have been disappointed with that,” McKenzie said."
Also realize the State Dept told people to start leaving back in April who could leave...just saying.

A) People suck. Dogs don't.
B) Most adults are more capable of assisting their own evacuation than most dogs.
C) Theoretically, a service dog *should* have been already within US Control, as compared to some Americans who simply could not make it to Kabul for evacuation. Meaning stranding those service dogs was a deliberate decision to leave them behind, as compared to an unfortunate consequence of not being able to get to the humans.
D) Nine times out of ten, if I see a human and a dog fighting, I'm siding with the dog. And nine times out of ten, that is the right choice. Which leads me back to A).

Because some of us consider dogs to be superior to people.
