There is no surer path to the decertification of the International Criminal Court than in charging Israeli (or any other nation's) officials with crimes perpetrated against them. While I'm on the subject, I would enthusiastically support the decertification of the United Nations on much the same basis. The only benefit I can ascribe to the United Nations is that it has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the vast majority of peoples and their nations are not worthy of respect. As a majority of such peoples control the reins of the United Nations, they demonstrate a complete disregard by placing their most vile members on such committees as those charged with human rights.

Jimmy slaps Johnny on the playground.
Nothing happens.
The next day, Jimmy slaps Johnny on the playground.
This time, the teacher tells Jimmy that slapping Johnny isn't nice.
The next day, Jimmy slaps Johnny on the playground.
Jimmy gets called to the Principal's Office but claims he didn't actually slap Johnny, Susie did. And even then, Johnny deserved it because he is bigger than both Jimmy and Susie
despite the red mark on Johnny's face, the Principal doesn't have video evidence of WHO slapped Johnny, so no one is punished.
The next week, Jimmy punches Johnny in the face, breaking Johnny's nose.
Johnny says "enough is enough" and beats Jimmy unconscious.
The Principal has a stern talk with Jimmy about punching Johnny, but does not actually punish Jimmy. And then expels Johnny.
This is how we have been taught things should happen.
