Has anyone giving the CANREC program any thought?

I decided to submit a CANREC (Canvassers Recruiter) application a few months back to have an option for going back active duty since it is almost impossible for a gunners mate to do so unless I'm being mobilized. What is everyones thoughts about or knowledge about this program? And if you or if you know of anybody that has been accepted into it what have there experience been like?

I'm currently doing it now....just submitted my package to my recruiting LPO who will look it over and get it up the CoC.

Not CANREC but on the topic of active duty opportunities, do you have 0812 NEC by chance?

No sir, i only have 90ds, 90mn, 90bc. Haven't had the chance to obtain an NEC in the GM field since converting from a TM.

Besides I try to apply for schools such as this but my unit will only approve schools that benefit the unit not my career.
