Some more infighting between those in charge & those in the know. It makes a good short point about Airmen not having a voice in situations like this.

It just seems wrong to use this situation for personal gain.....and the fact that you want to remain anonymous makes me think this officer that's profiting feels the same way.

You said it right about 'those in the know' - if by, 'suitable replacement' you mean an A-10 with newer tech + the Gau, then replace away! I want one of those too!

Oh yeah. Most of us who aren't trying to get the shiny new toys realize we should stick w/ a proven winner. And damn those that disagree that we need to force a new instrument into a model that it doesn't fit.
