With the downsizing of DoD contracts what are most Intelligence professionals turning to?

First off I am an Intel Recruiter and this may be a bit self serving, but I want to see where most Intel people are hanging their hats. . I have seen many burned out feeling like they've been chewed up and spit out due the new much lower pricing structures in recent contracts and being "forced out". Are you keeping your clearance active by using the Nat'l Guard or are you kissing the IC goodbye for greener pastures?

Many banks are looking to hire folks with investigations / AML / compliance experience for opportunities. Cyber security is another big ticket.

I know a few intel guys are turning to the reserves and going back to school to get higher degrees to become more marketable before going into the private sector.

I have seen some even turn to landscaping, car dealerships and banking as Chief said. Some that have been smart with their money are riding out the lower wages until the contracting world gets better
