Another movie theater attack. Threats and attacks in public places and businesses seem to be on the upswing. Our society seems to be growing more disconnected and violent. Are we eventually going to get to a time when we see metal detectors in most every public plbuilding and possibly businesses like theaters? We already have them at sports arenas.

I will fight it tooth and nail. I will use every ounce of my Rights to Protest and Free Speech to scream as loud as my voice will allow that "this is not Freedom."
If you have to go through a "security screening" in Public, you are not "secure in your person."
There's a huge difference between a private institution barring access to a place because you choose to carry a "prohibited item" and the general public SEARCHING your person. That is counter to everything America is about.
I get restricted access, like Courthouses, and military facilities. Sometimes you have to make LIMITED exceptions. Don't like them, but understand the need. But when we as a People start "accepting" invasions into our personal Privacy when we are just out about, something is wrong.
The next step will be "Papers, please." and "This way Citizen."
