Will they send me to an MEB for my diagnosis of psychosis and borderline personality disorder?

I’m currently diagnosed with psychosis and boarderline personality disorder and I’m currently having night terrors due to the situation I’ve been through would they meb board me for that?

For Psychosis and BPD you will absolutely be medically separated. Those are not things that develop from the Army so it will he found to be a pre-existing condition and you will most likely not rate any disability. You will get a small separation pay of a few thousand dollars. That's not a 100% prediction, but those conditions found in someone with only a few years of service will almost always be found to he preexisting conditions. Source: my wife was a PEBLO up until very recently and this situation is one we've discussed multiple times.

PFC (Join to see) yes you'll be treated by your provider until they decide there's nothing more they can do for you or that you don't meet the standards of medical fitness. Then you will receive a Permanent P3 profile that will initiate your MEB. Once you talk to a PEBLO your MEB will usually finish in under six months. Save your leave, start SFLTAP, and start making your transition plans for after the Army

SFC (Join to see) - Maybe you or your wife can answer this for me. I had 20 years and went to a MEB and the army gave me a rating of 70%. What should my retirement be? Thanks.

Given those diagnosis, yes, you will be medically discharged. The MEB process takes 6-12 months depending on COVID and if you choose to appeal at any point along the way.
