Will the Military support/pay for flying my family from an overseas assignment to a CONUS assignment (PCS orders)?

Married a Foreign National while on this overseas assignment, within 30 days of PCS date.
My spouse and I have a child.
My wife already has her immigrant visa and my daughter already has her U.S. passport.
My family received Command Sponsorship.
My family is already in DEERS.
My PCS orders state "dependents: yes" but it does not contain their names.

Since your family received Command Sponsorship you are entitled to Dependent travel

SFC (Join to see) - Understand. My CMD Sponsorship was probably given to me because I had already extended 12 months past my original DEROS, and staying 12 additional months was impossible because my overseas position got cut. Being CMD Sponsored or not, I'm being told by MPD and Finance that my dependents' travel from overseas to point of entry to CONUS is not covered.

MSG Gary Eckert - CGSC of WHINSEC is located on Ft. Benning. 12 months between your current DEROS and your ETS? I don't have an ETS date and accepting my assignment automatically places me under 12 months ADSO. They are not stating this, ETS has never been brought up.

CPT(P) Carlos Dorrejo what you're describing doesn't sound like command sponsorship. As per regulation, in order to be approved for command sponsorship, your DEROS must be extended to at least 12 months past approval. Otherwise, your dependents are what are known as acquired dependents and not authorized for government travel.

SFC (Join to see) - this is exactly what I'm being told. But I am Command Sponsored, since it was approved by the approving authority (Commander) prior to my DEROS. I could not extend (again) at my current overseas assignment because the position was cut/removed.

CPT(P) Carlos Dorrejo, you can get your orders amended to add their names to it. I had to do that when I left Bragg to go to Italy. My original orders did not have my wife and kids' names in it.

Thanks SSG Kutting, however, your situation might be different than mine because you were going from CONUS to OCONUS? I asked MPD to get my family's names added to my orders and so they later amended my orders but instead included a paragraph that stated something to the affect of "dependent travel will only be covered between point of entry to CONUS to duty station".
