SPC (Join to see) The army will help with your PCS/ETS to your last home of record. Everything else needs to be covered by you. Only way you could get help with relocating is if you went AGR and got stationed there. I asked the same question when I got out, as I was contemplating moving to OK so my wife could be by her sister.

Agree with SFC Steven Borders. If you want to be in Alaska, you'd have to get yourself there, as far as PCSing during an ETS.
However, if you choose to get a unit assignment in AK while still in KS, you may be eligible for reimbursement of flight fees. You'd also get, if the budget supports it, Lodging-In-Kind (LIK). Finally, a meal or two.
