I love this article, team based goals and common vision followed up with how the individual skills fit into the team goals.

Completely agree. Always encouraging and thanking your team members and making them feel like they are a part of something good....gives them the incentive to achieve more...work harder and having faith in them selves and feeling satisfied.
When I train employes and they make a mistake...I don't say "why did you do that" or chastise them....I tell them no problem...we can fix it...let me show you how...or something along those lines... You need to let your employes know that they are appreciated.
