Your unit isn’t going anywhere and your assignment isn’t going anywhere either. You’re an initial entry Soldier, you’ll just be given a new report date if yours passes. When you leave you’ll sign out on a DA31 and you’ll be authorized the travel days you get to drive there, or else you’ll fly. The Bragg reception center does not care when you are supposed to arrive, your DA31 will be all the exception you need. Technically, your orders are good for any report date in July.

So would July 17 be the earliest they could accept me then since you put it that way ? or does the date on my ACT not matter ? i just dont want to get in any trouble when its not my fault

SGT (Join to see) you won’t get in any trouble. You just show up after you are released. You could show up a month early if you had your orders in hand

Where are you reporting too? It is most assuredly something that the school needs to do for you. Speak with your cadre.

Understood. Speak with your cadre, if training is lengthened the Army informs the gaining units. There is no issue. Decisions to extend training is not in the hands of the local commander. They brief conditions and make recommendations. Anyway you are good to go. Speak to the leadership. ~1601428:SPC Josh Harrison]
