And who really wins??? If they sides don't come together, we will continue the current trend. One side doesn't have all the answers and that's the problem, all of them, including independents think they have the answers. Politics!!!

well...whoever wins, regardless of the "D" or "R" behindtheir name...it will be bad for us average joes...there is no politician alive today that truly cares or gives a damn about us...some are just a little bit more caring then then others...but when it comes right down to it...if it meant crossing the street to save one of us...or picking up a nickle...they will go for the nickel everytime

We can't go with the trickle down effect and we also can go completely government. Neither has worked in the past. There has to be some middle ground. Thoughts?

MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca
We need to put Jane and Joe Citizen on equal political footing with big business and corporations. Big business speaks with dollars like campaign contributions while we can only speak with votes and petitions and we are out funded, I'd venture to say, 1000 to 1 dollars for votes. Even foreign interests have more access to elected/running officials through "campaign contributions" than we do.
It's almost like we need an "electoral college" on legislation where a business/corporation gets 1 vote and each citizen gets a vote and the officials have to fairly weigh matters.
We also IMHO, need throw the book out on campaigns and rewrite it. Why can't the media give free equal time to each candidate instead of they who have the most bucks get the most commercials. You can see it now that election 2016 is going to overwrought with nothing more that who's responsible for Iraq, Afghanistan, ISIS, North Korea, Iran, and do on. It's not going to be about the issues facing us it's going to be about the issues behind us and why 10 year old decisions are why we shouldn't elect a candidate. I'll wager anything that the Queen of Benghazi will no less than 10 more times come out and say her vote for the Iraq are was a mistake.
