I liked Carson on the military. Huckabee was also very strong.
Carly Fiorina stood out in the afternoon debate.

Capt Seid Waddell, I was really impressed with Carly Florina. I think that Ben Carson highly underrated. I also was impressed with Marco Rubio, but most of the evening debate was just pure comedy. I'm sure that FOX News had their highest tv ratings in a long time.

CW4 (Join to see), I think that Trump hurt himself with his immature defensiveness.

I thought that there were a few moments where a few of the candidates had a shining moment, but overall no one really hit it out of the park. I do not have much faith and confidence in this performance as a whole. At this point none of this really matters, it will matter in 2016. Also, 17 candidates for 1 spot is a little much in my opinion. The people are quite confused by the differing rhetoric. Don't get me started on Trump.

SSG (Join to see), go and see if you can download what Carly Florina had to say in the afternoon debate. I didn't know too much about her besides what the news has reported on her, but she left me with a really food impression of her after her debate remarks.

SSG (Join to see), I wouldn't worry too much about Trump at this early date. Nobody stays hot for a year in this business.
Also, his refusal to rule out a third Party run exposed him for the spoiler he is; I believe his intentions are to split the GOP vote and elect Hillary. He has been close to the Clintons for years, and has also been a net Democrat contributor and has held Democrat policy positions up until a couple of months ago.
I think he hurt himself in the first debate, and he will likely keep doing so in the future - it is consistent with his personality to behave like he did last night.

I didn't finish watching it so I haven't completely made up my mind yet (I did record it on my DVR) but I was actually most impressed with Jeb Bush!
