The Order of the Sword and Shield (Omicron Sigma Sigma) is the official honor society for Homeland Security, Intelligence, Emergency Management, and all Protective Security Studies. It was established in 2010 at St. John's University, and today, has more than 50 chapters in colleges and universities across the country. Receiving an invitation to apply is recognition in itself as the Society recognizes the top academic achievers in our fields of study. We also recognize professionals who have achieved great success in our disciplines as well.
