I remember the signs very well but I thought the buildings at camp Stanton were modern !!!

Camp Greaves-DMZ had no signs like that, but everyday at formation we had VD Call. Also, if you got the Clap 3 times in one month, you got an Article 15, that took one months pay, so you wouldn't leave the post for a month and catch the Clap again. 1973

I was stationed at Cp Custer which was about a half mile west of Yong Ju Gol. We were located at the base of Charlie Block, 1970/'71.

Is a matter of fact, my picture I use as my avatar was taken on GP Ouellette in the DMZ. It shows me relaxing on one of the M-60 firing positions along the trench line.

In 1992/93, G.O. at YongJuGol closed down and the Cav moved to Pelham. In 1996, Pelham was unofficially renamed G.O. till closed in 2004.

I was at Song Ju Ri 90 - 91. 16 month tour as all of B trp was extended for stop loss from Desert Storm. I was a PFC when I left Korea since my favorite thing to do was get in trouble. I was the driver of B-41 my whole tour. What a great time (in hind site) as I wanted to leave there every single day. I am proud of having been in the Cav and I miss all my buddies. I left after the war before we moved to RC-4 / Pelham although we battled in Song Ju RI on many a night! Loco Puta was a common name around Gary Owen and many a Cavalry men traveled to be in her company!
