Where is the safest tap water outside the United States?

When I travel, and I don't care where I go, even in the US, I always drink bottled water. I drank enough crap that kept me running when I was in Nam. NEVER AGAIN!

I don't have a good answer for either of your questions. My lone solution is to hope that my BRITA and PUR water filters make tap water safer for me. I know bottled water isn't much safer all the times. However, if I didn't think I saw results with tap water and filters, I'd probably consider buying bottled water to use with the filters.
