Where is Gen. MacArthur when we need him?

It appears that we are headed back to the Philippines. The locals are looking forward to the influx of income. While the prospect of a prolonged struggle with China is a grim one, what other benefits can you see in something like this?

I grew up in the PI. We were allowed to go to bars at 14.

A lot of sin around the bases. Lots of bars with dancing women and cheap beer.
