Below is a growing list, and if you do not see a contractor on the list, please share so it can be added. This has been gathered by the help of fellow veterans who have and have not worked for a Private Security Contractor.

The list is certainly not all-inclusive and does not contain most of the largest private security contractors like G4S, Securitas, Allied-Barton, Centerra Group, and many, many more. My company, Centerra Group (formerly G4S Government Services/Wackenhut Services) is the largest provider of security services to the US Government and has thousands of veterans as employees. Our former parent company, G4S, is the second largest company in the world and employs over 620,000 security personnel in almost every country in the free world.
I have a report on the "30 Most Powerful Private Security Companies In The World" that I can send anybody interested. I just need an e-mail address. Mine is [login to see] Send me an e-mail and I'll send it to you.

Good point. I think when people think of the ones you have listed, they think of local security duties and not so much as overseas. I do remember Wackenhut having overseas job opportunities. I'm going to add your company Centerra to the list if that is ok. Thanks for the advice.

If you're looking for who's who in different areas, check out the proposer lists on FedBizOpps. That's where all Federal contracts are advertised. You can keyword search on such things as "security services". Having a list is one thing. Knowing who's chasing what/where helps narrow it down.
