When Did It Hit You That You Have Significant Memory Loss?

I have a bad memory but was not able to quantify it. I have quantified it to a great degree recently which kind of disturbs me because I don't know what to think of it. I watched the Friday Night Lights series several months ago. Now I am watching it again with very little understanding that I watched it already. I suppose this is something I will lament about until I accept it. I think memory loss changes the perception of reality and ultimately the truth that binds one to the world.

MAJ Ken Landgren, both; either; neither. I cannot remember the question.
My father was a doctor, and he said that for me Alzheimer’s would be a silent disease.
He had a photographic memory; I suspect that I may have been adopted.

When you are literally tearing the house apart looking for a set of keys or for a wallet that you just put down, that is when it became apparent for me. It comes and goes, so now i try to be as organized as possible. I am bad with the little things but i can remember faces and events fairly easily. But with the tearing the house down, you sort of change your tone and unwittingly lash out at those around you. I don't know why i did it. I guess it's PTSD? not sure. I never had a TBI. So in my case it's just the way that I am aging or something.

This will be rambling as I took this from a post I made on another site:
I hear some speakers use this technique for speech. They use Point A to launch to speech and link it to Point B, Point C etc. They are linked together. I really do like the concept of The Last Known Point because of the adaptability of it. Soldiers might use the last known point to disengage from the enemy to rally up, to halt a project going awry, to back up during marital strife, or find the keys that are pissing you off. The best way to not lose keys is to put them in one place watch when you put them up. The mind has better memory with visualization as opposed to not thinking about it.
