When and how can I access iPERMS/HRCAPPS?

Hello community,

I signed my DA-71 on 31 Jan 2020 and my contract on 5 Feb 2020 for the Army Reserve. I have read on Rally Point that these and other records can be accessed and viewed through iPERMS and HRCAPPS. I am currently a DA civilian with a CAC and have tried logging in with my CAC and AKO username/password to no avail. Will I not be able to access these sites until I receive orders and in-process with my unit? Thank you.

It is Reserve without the ‘s’

You can only access our military files as a military member. You will need a military CAC. Until you have that, you will need to go through an administrative person with access (S1, RPAC, unit administrator).
