Thinking of the spiritual, is there a verse or passage or quote from a sacred religious text - or other book, that inspires you? Motivates you? Gets you back on task? Can you share that with us? Why is that particular text important and inspiring to you? What does it say to you?

"Veritas liberabit vos."

The truth shall set you free. It reminds me that to feel free, one must live honestly and seek out knowledge honestly. In essence, one must conduct themselves with integrity. I suppose that's a bit of a stretch, but I like it. Feel free to correct me.

From John 8:32

The Truth shall "make" you free. Not set you free, that set you free is a very common phrase that people says in The Bible. But is not in The Bible The Bible says and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free there's a big difference for being made free and being set free. In order to be set free the person at captured U has to open the gate and let you out there by setting you free being made free means You were captured by Satan and his lies, but when you heard the truth of God's Word and accepted his Word over Satan's lies, you were made free.

The Bible: 1 Corinthians 13

I won't retype the chapter but for those that don't know, it covers love and how important it should be in our lives.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. -2 Timothy 2:3

It reminds us that the fight (spiritual) is real. It reminds us that if we are doing what we are supposed to do we will have to endure difficulty. It lets us know that only then are we truly worthy of the term "soldier for Christ!"
