I think it shows the slimy nature of politics, SGM (Join to see). The administration counted on "the stupidity of the American voter" and lied their way through (the tax lie, chief among them) to push this law through. Nothing new, probably.

It is a profound example of hubris and arrogance of progressive/liberal ideology. There are conservatives who exhibit hubris too, but they dont own this one. Mind boggling.

It is disappointing to see such a double standard due to the media these days. These comments are insulting and show the problems with the Democratic Party and their elitist mentalities (I am sure the GOP has their fair share of this as well). Mitt Romney was caught on tape making his "47% of Americans" comment and that toppled the election for him. I doubt this will do anything poor to the Obama administration however, just another person they can throw under the train of America's destruction.

That is typical of liberals who actually believe that stuff and to their own inherent abilities. It is disrespectful and assuming to say the least. They should be embarrassed but they really do think they are the best and the brightest. You see that in some of the rhetoric. You would think voters would catch on by now, but those kinds of claims. I do not want to call out people because of their beliefs but it does make you wonder.

True, but the fact of the matter is they have perfected word craft time and again. Bush - Gravitas, any kind of gate and that kind of alacrity. We have an extra Chromosone. lol

A politician telling the truth? How novel. Seriously though, to those of us who saw through the facade of the so-called Affordable Care Act, this is not really news. For those of us who chose blissful ignorance, this will not make a difference. The fact that he says this publicly and no one who supports the ACA blinks an eye, only proves how correct he is.

How did this happen? Simple. We've been lowering our education standards for 60 years while fostering a society that says, you're a victim, it's not your fault. You never had a chance to succeed, it's okay you failed, the government will take care of you.

This is the result of raising a generation of people who can't think for themselves and are dependent of Uncle Sam.

The Romans probably were debating the same things when the walls fell. There weren't enough Legions left or willing to defend.

Sadly, I have to agree with the "stupidity of the American voter" comment begrudgingly. I think many of us are smart enough to see through this "Net Neutrality" suggestion coming up, but I doubt that most of America is.

Either he is stupid by inadvertently admitting the idea behind it all, or he is a patriot for advising the public, but in such a way that he is not ostracized by his people and having his career destroyed through black listing.

Just goes to show that the list of grievances an overwhelming majority of Americans have against the people who are supposed to be representing them, and have their best interests first and foremost, are valid and vindicated. It also continues to show, in glaring detail, just how the leftists feel about pretty much everyone in the country. I was listening to Mark Levine on the way home from work yesterday, and he aired a clip of Pelosi responding to this scandal. "I've never even heard of this Gruber guy. He is just some nobody number cruncher, I would imagine. I've never met him or had anything to do with him". Roll the audio of Pelosi back in 2007-8 when she was discussing the Affordable Care Act: "So we have this incredibly smart and intelligent professor from MIT. His name is Johnathon Gruber, and he is the main person behind the creation of the healthcare bill". How in the hell is this woman still in office?? Even if she weren't thrown in Leavenworth for sedition, in regards to her actions back in 2007, when she went to Damascus to meet with the Abbas regime, She should have just been voted into obscurity for being a class A dolt. I can picture her sitting in a corner off the floor of Congress, with a dunce cap on...

This is yet another indictment against this administration, and showcases all the lies, deceit, and corruption for everyone to see. Now, let's all hold our breath and see how many front pages this is on, and how many news shows this as breaking news, or at least use it as their lead story...
