When I bought my drum set, nobody wanted to send it to Puerto Rico, Musician's Friend, 123, etc. every body had a different excuse. Sam Ash was the only one that sent it with no problems. They made a mistake in the bill and gave me a credit without even asking. The only thing that I don't like is that, they know I play drums, they know I bought them a set, still send me just guitars offers, smh. SGT (Join to see)

That's awesome. I never thought SamAsh would have a one-up over the others you mentioned.

SGT (Join to see) the reason why I say the other companies gave me "excuses" is because what they were saying didn't make any sense and SamAsh was the only one straight. The drum set was +70lbs, divided in several boxes, Musician's told me that they couldn't ship anything above +70 which was true and false. Well, I got my set and I loved it the time I got it.

That's an awesome reason to support SamAsh. Unfortunately, I've only seen one store. Guitar Center is always close by. Have you submitted a testimonial to them?

I try to do business with local merchants first but I'll go through Guitar Center or Musicians Friend if that fails.

SGT (Join to see) - I collect music and have over 55,000 45's, 15,000 33's, thousands of cassettes, 3,000 CD's, and even several hundred 8-tracks. Having said that, I have not bought a record for many, many years or a CD in at least two years, as all my music is now acquired/downloaded from iTunes.

When using iTunes, I had to use Amazon sometimes to get music iTunes wouldn't have.
