There are a ton of great songs about military life, that reference the military in some way; some of the more modern works may have a video associated with it, and some of the older classics continue to define the military experience to this day. From country to rock, ballads & pop, to more traditional flavors--did a particular song inspire, educate, or simply strike a chord with you? Please feel free to share any inspiring military-related music, any music or songs that makes you think of/or reminds you of your military service, as well as any links, photos, descriptions or anything that helps you tell your story. The idea here is to have a fun and thought provoking discussion, which will be fun, informative, and provide a means to tell our stories... and to learn about one another as well as our sister services in the process. Wishing you all the best, I look forward to hearing from you, and interacting with you all in the threads!

Thank you Adam! I agree with MAJ Burns, it is a great song and I never heard it before! I am not a big fan of country music, but country music out of all variations of music are I guess you can say put out the best Patriotic music! I am an old country boy, but I love my 70's Rock! :-)

I swear I posted this last night, but maybe rallypoint didn't like it so they deleted it. I'll give it a try again.
I'm Already There by Lonestar. This song may not have been written for the military, but several people have turned it into a military tribute on youtube. This particular version is my favorite and it's still gives me chills every time I hear it because it hits me so hard. No other song has ever generated this type of emotion for me, and it's a song I will never forget.
