What's the craziest thing you've seen in the barracks?

One soldier shot another in the hand during a room inspection. He was trying to hand off a pistol to his buddy so he wouldn't get caught with it.

A "Stairwell Watch". Great Lakes, Snipes Castle. It had 4 3-story wings. Females had one wing, 1/2 of 3rd floor. Each landing was open to male barracks. So every time we walked down the stairs, starting on the 3rd floor, the Stairwell Watch had to yell "Female on Deck!" as we turned on each landing and continued down (or up). After a while, it got kind of old. Finally I told the Watch that if I see something I'd never seen before, I would shoot it. They still had to announce but, at least they quit yelling in our ears!

I was ETSing from Germany. I moved back into the barracks to clear and brought Dachshund with me. Top knew she living in the barracks. About 4 days before leaving we had an IG inspection. Stella, the dog, got passed from room to room as the inspection progressed. When the General got to my room, Stella got lose and came sauntering into the room, jumped on the bed, layed down and looked the General right in the eyes. He continued looking around the room, turned to leave and said,"Nice dog. Your taking her with you, Right?". I answered "Yes Sir!". Nothing was ever said about the incident.

Full contact football in flack jackets and Kevlar on a ridge in the desert of 29 Palms, Ca. The football was a ham and chicken log MRE. The football was inedible at the end of the game.

I was at one of the hhotels on base, with my then husband, friends, etc...we all partied pretty hard that night. Hit the rack at like 0300 just to be woken up at 0645 with pounding on the door. There was an MP standing there and asked the question "Do you guys know who shit in SgtMaj washing machine?" Didn't even know he had a washing machine at a hotel.

Guy I know locked himself out of his room, so he spiderman'd from the balcony on the 4th floor going from window ledge to window ledge, kind of like free climbing.
He fell four stories, thank jeebas for PLF's.
Ooh, or the four story beer bong, that was pretty sweet.
Or the rave we threw on the balcony of the barracks.

When I was on the island just days before graduation a new batch of recruits came in up on third floor. I am laying in my rack and I hear a scream and look out the hatch and see a recruit laying on the ground. He had jumped from the third floor landing. His DI on duty came out on the landing and yelled down if you want to off yourself crawl back up and I will give you a K Bar and show you how to do it right. A little while later the ambulance arrived and carted him off. The kid was alright I am sure. I knew then I was ready for graduation and ready to get off the Island

Saw a chick walk from room to room naked in Ft Drum, literally begging for sex, she went to the hospital that night for tearing her anus.... we still dont know how she made it past CQ that night.
