Hello everyone. I'm thinking about cross training into Pest Management for the air force reserves. I've done my research but I'm curious as to what ppl who have actually done it think about it. I'm a reservist, so I can't wrap my mind around what a typical drill weekend might look like. Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm a woman and Active Duty AF. I dreaded the thought when I found out what my job was, but I must say its very interesting and you get to do/ experience a lot! Love driving the off road Honda in the woods, catching snakes, even challenging myself with bee hives while standing on a hydraulic lift. I love it and it keeps things exciting.

I was a Engineer Entomologist Specialist during the Vietnam era for four years. I was deployed to Vietnam and assigned to the 544th Red Horse Squadron in 1969 and 70 at Cam Rhan Bay. 50 years later, I am now suffering from Toxic Periferal Neuropathy caused by the toxic chemicals I was exposed to, including Agent Orange.
