What kind of jargon do you use as a veteran that your civilian counterparts simply don't understand?

When we talk in a world of "alien acronyms," it is no wonder why some civilians look at us as we are speaking a foreign language. One of my favorites is BAH. On one of the billboards along the highway to Ft. Hood, it reads, "Use your BAH to pay for your home." I chuckle especially around Christmas time (Bah Humbug!) as civilians drive to see their military families. I wonder if they know that it stands for Basic Allowance for Housing?

I use quite a few too, like Chow Time, oh dark hundred, PX and ate up, just to name a few...

I use to work with nothing but civilians in a construction job. I was their warehouse manager. Just coming off a drill weekend, "OK listen up. I need this conex squared away, dress right dress, looking pretty. After that, at 0945 hours, al of you need to be in my office for a standard brief. Tracking?"
Needless to say, they were not.
