Since the days of Atari, technology has run rampant, some homes have several computers now...smart phones are a must? What did we do without them? Which is your favorite?
I have to say Pandora is my new best friend...played through my Samsung Galaxy 5...easily my favorite. It gives 24 g 7 access to RallyPoint. Every time I log on, it's like a FragO...mission has changed.

Since cell phones do so much more than just make calls, I’d have to go with that. I’m on mine all the time. I have a Galaxy S5 Active. It’s my phone, GPS, camera, computer, and game console.
A close second is the remote control. Do you have any idea how much garbage I’d have been forced to watch if I actually had to get off my ass to change the channel?

Not GPS. That stuff doesn't work in a sand storm leaving someone dependent on it blind. I was riding with EOD when I found that one out. Gore-Tex is pretty bad ass. If you can stay dry it helps you go a long way to stay warm. I am also a big fan of portable solar power systems. Pretty cool they can pack that much usefulness into such a small package.

Going to add another vote for the smart phone. It does so much more than just make calls, and to have such a diverse set of tools literally in your pocket is just incredible. Just imagine taking a modern smart phone back even as short a time ago as a decade in the past to compare it to the tech at the time. We've made incredible advances in such a short period of time.

SSG(P) (Join to see) I love tech, and especially smart phones, but I do wish they would stop with the trend of making cellphones into mini tablets. I like being connected to my devices too, but it's getting increasingly difficult to do so "on the run" as they're too big to use one handed!

SGT (Join to see) are you any relation to the other SSG Robertson on RP? Cell phones will move to all voice command in the next decade...watch.

SSG(P) (Join to see) No relation. Considering the direction Siri and Cortana are taking I believe it.

PV2 Jordan Varden True, but I'm waiting a bit more for the smart watch tech to mature before I pluck down so much money for one. Plus, I'm so used to wearing my sports watch everywhere up to and including the shower that I'm afraid I'll forget a smart watches limitations and do something stupid and damage it.
