SPC Michael Hunt I was denied because of my TBI. I was not a happy camper. They teach us that we are only as limited as we allow ourselves to be. Sometimes we get blind-sided by the very systems designed to help us. Good luck, my brother.

I was able to use Voc Rehab and earn a B.A. in Criminal Justice. The qualification process can be tedious and time consuming, but is well worth it. I received money for living expenses per month and never saw a bill from the University for classes or the book store. That included books, tablets, pens or any other course materials.
Be patient, the V.A. does not bother you while you are in school!
Good luck!

I had a great experience with VocRehab. No hassles although I did have to pay for my books and get reimbursed, but I was told this is different with every school. Some schools will give you a voucher and they wait for the money (from what I was told). Other than this, everything went without a hitch and minimum involvement from the VocRehab counselor.
