What is your all-time favorite military-themed TV show (s)?

I enjoyed Band of Brothers a lot.  I enjoyed the pacific, but not nearly as much as BoB.  The stories just weren't portrayed in the same manner for some reason.  BoB just came across as more personal.

I love Band of Brothers and hated the Pacific, to each his own.

There is deffinitely a big difference in how the stories were told between Band of Brothers and the Pacific.  The Pacific displayed a real and less focused dark side of war.  Band of Brothers really showed camaraderie and the great things that occur even in the darkest times, its in the name and is a series I enjoyed very much but to say you hated the Pacific, thats a pretty strong statement.  Ive used both series for PME to include Generation Kill, The Thin Red Line and Code Talkers, there are great lessons to be taken from the real events portrayed in these shows and movies.
