What is the success rate for MSC IST

I have a good job opportunity for a job in another state, and it would make the commute to drill meetings over 2 hours one way. I am looking into a IST with the state I am moving to, but since I am kind,of new,to all of this and in the MSC, I was wondering what people thought my chances are? I really like keep my unit, but the new job requires a lot of travel. Thoughts?

Transfer to a unit closer to your home and work! There are other great units in the military, and you will be a more effective unit member if you do not have to travel so far.
