Hiw would one go about applying to the Military Prep school as a current soldier? How likely is it to get accepted into this program, ie what does it take to get in?

These aren't easy, they're pretty rough in fact, yes ago, I did math, engineering which doesntnexist anymore, and physics, one needs a minimum raw score, not a percentile, physics took me three tries to pass, however, if you get an adequate raw score, you can get either 24 or 30 pass fail credits, Excelsior gave !e 30 for each,, different schools credit them different way, I got 15 assocs level, 15 bach level, Excelsior has a 2nd degree rule for 30 more credits, if one wants a 2nd bach, or 15 credits for a 2md assoc, assoc is type 60 credits, bach is type 120 credits, normatively, nationwide, with some variations, of course....

Look at this also, it doesn't include Army WOCS, or any of the OIS indoc programs for direct commissions, however, not does have the five standardmOCS programs, with a fairly decent question section....

My next younger brother was USMMA Kings Point, I commissioned him...I was Army ROTC before USAF OTS, my ROTC unit drilled at West Point, the whole thing ate with the cadets, in the dining hall, stayed in the barracks with them, out on the orienteering range with them, in the obstacle course, on the rappelling cliff...I've had sevl friends or acquaintances who were SUNY Maritime, the two twin astronauts went to USMMA and SUNY Maritime, I can't recall their names...some other thoughts, also...an airman where I was assigned from my installation got into USAFA while I was there without tuenorep school, so it can be done...however, it's not about what you want, it's about who wants you, so, you need to René!her you'd be competing against half the enlisted from all the svcs, not just Army...you don't need to focus on USMA, I realize you want it, I learned much later that the PMS, PNS, or PAS of an ROTC program can also nominate for the academy for their SVC, I'm pretty sure...further, my best friend in USAF was VMI, he was told he had to elected engrg (EE), not physics, due to a shortage...the maritime schools, as well as VMI, Citadel, and all the other junior military colleges, are all viable routes, you'd also need to blanket the ROTCs, the USCG scholarship program, look at USCG MARGRWD that I'd sent you as well...all are excellent, I assure you, I've seen SUNY Maritime as well, I kick myself quite frequently I didn't apply there when I'd had the chance, I didn't know any better, don't make my mistake, OK? Also, you need to realize that an academy PR ROTC grad, can also commission into another SVC besides their own, when my brother graduated, USMMA commissioned many NROTC grads into Army, USAF, NOAA Commissioned zcorps, look that up also, it's been done, I sawmit done, I watched it...next, also, look at Platoon Leaders Course (PLC) for USMC, it's less well known tan ROTCs, I'll send you a link for that as well, of you want more, just ask, I'll try to send more OK?
