we have all heard of the bad things our brethren go through when suffering from ptsd. but these cases are usually the heavy ones. suicide, homicide, fights, heavy drinking, etc. what about the mildest forms. what are the signs, because the signs sound like everyday events. is it even ptsd, or just an attitude you've developed while serving. someone who lives in a loud house will grow to be a loud person. so being in the military so long, I believe it just changes you. but could it be in fact that you suffer from something. anyone out there who has been diagnosed or know someone that is going through this, I would really love to hear the story.

I'm not sure about medical definitions of PTSD. From your message, though, It sounds like you might want to talk to your chain of command, healthcare provider, or chaplain. You can message me here if those folks aren't available. Good luck.

Already in the works. I just didn't know there was a problem. A Sgm pointed out the possibility. So it is being addressed.

So MSG (Join to see), when did you get back and in which province(s) did you serve?

Don't forget, I am a short drive down the road or a phone call away....I am sure we have walked along some of the same paths.

CSM, I got back in 2009. It's been a while. I was down south stationed at KAF but constantly off the airfield due to my qualifications and people needing help. Thanks for the offer. I'll definitely keep you in mind. Funny thing. I didn't think there was a problem. I seriously still don't think ther is a problem. I think I've seen some bad shit happen. And I don't take the lives of my family for granted so I have them know what I expect of them. I have these migraines and this constant loud ringing in my head, which I thought contributed to my short temper. I don't take it out on the kids, I usually get up and leave the house. But I am more of an asshole these days. Again, thought it was just me getting old and grumpy. This can't be PTSD, right? I have an appointment soon to talk to someone. My wife told me I needed to find out how to quit blowing up for nothing. So I gotta find a solution. Thanks for the offer. Any information on what you know had worked for others would be great.
