The MOS description on the Army's website grasped my interest but since 13J is still fairly new I haven't gotten much info about it. Does anyone know what life is like in this MOS?

13J is amazing. Having started my career as a 13B then a 13P and an 11B the new transition to 13J is exciting. It opens up a bunch of promotion eligibility positions. It is challenging as in if you spend a lot of time with HIMARS ot MLRS you lose your cannon manual safety skills. But it challenges you to stay current on a multiple amount of skills that other MOSs do not. It's an exciting time to be the brains of the King of Battle. Without us, they are just big lumps of metal sitting in a field with nothing to shoot at

What are some of the duty stations that 13j will get? I’m prior service (usmc) so any advice would be greatly appreciated

If you look up the jobs for 13P and 13D that’s what a 13J is. You are basically getting Info from the forward observers and sending it to the Gun/Launcher.
