CPT Ahmed Faried, I don't advocate abolishing taxes. We do still need to fund a government. I'm a proponent of a "flat tax". Everyone pays his share....ONCE per pay period.

flat tax would be ridiculous. to get the level of taxation needed we would have to raise taxes on most Americans just to give 1% a tax cut

I do believe the constitution reads "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." Please show me where the government is providing this? The PEOPLE are empowered by the CONSTITUTION to remove any government that fails in its job. I'm not abdicating violent overthrow but the need for the PEOPLE to wake up and elect worthy representatives.

The treason would be in the individuals not upholding their oath of office, not the action of removing those individuals.
