What have you decided to do for employment after the military?

I'm going to teach highschool history and coach a sport, any sport. My ideal sport would be basketball, either boys or girls, it doesnt matter.

SPC Kent Tilley - Taxpayer vs Private business paying you. You can make a good living in a large district bad news in small. As far as advancement time on the job. IMO

I used to hire every military vet with instructor training I could get. We are used to getting results and there wasn't a union to tell us how to manage our people. Most of the Senior NCOs advanced quickly, as a retiree, I was 39 when I started in the civilian industry. It is a good secure career path, regardless of which you choose. Good luck!

I decided to look into jobs that directly relate to my passions of fitness, IT, and music production. Therefore, I'm working as a health coach, doing a lot of IT training outside of college, and working on music copyrights.
