Doesn't the Service Contract Act apply here? How much do taxpayers pay for the pay of these employees now and how much more will taxpayers have to pay for a benefit that they don't get to enjoy?

I think it is part of the big picture of all workers with the coming negotiations. I see lots of workers doing it in solidarity with others in the industry. Also I think there are different classes of workers at these locations, not all are under one umbrella.
