'We Don't Serve Cops Here,"' West Hartford Dunkin' Donuts Employee Tells Officer
A West Hartford police officer was waiting at the back of the line in the Dunkin' Donuts at 1234 Farmington Ave. to buy a cup of coffee on Saturday morning when one of the employees said loudly in a room full of customers, "He didn't get the message. We don't serve cops here," police said. Now I ask you all here on RP, what is wrong with this picture? What is happening to our morals and doesn't anyone have any more scruples? This is unacceptable and the asshole who told that Police Officer should be terminated! Just imagine if you would, if that store clerk were to be held up by a gunman, who the hell is he going to call? Ghost busters? I don't think so. I means WTF is going on?

Refusing service to anyone when you are in a customer service job is unacceptable. I honestly can not even fathom that she was not joking. However in all cases we should not judge the masses because of the few bad apples.

I cannot even fathom a world where a store would refuse service to a uniformed police officer. Sgt David G Duchesneau what is this country coming to? I am embarrassed.

It's absolutely crazy. I was a State Trooper for over 20 years and never, I mean never has that ever happened in our State and if it would have, there would be hell to pay! Bastards!

Since I don't like DD as much as Krispy Kreme, there is little more that I can do to express my sentiments on this subject. Want to bet they feel the same about Vets?

In a nutshell, law enforcement is under the same form of attack as the returning Vietnam soldiers, and the impetus is being directed from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The current administration operates by the Four D's: distract, deceive, divide, and destroy!

Dispatch: "Active Shooter at Dunkin' Donuts, Farmington Avenue."
Patrol #1: "What? Please repeat dispatch. You're last was unclear."
Patrol #2: "Dispatch, say again. Did not copy."
Patrol #3: "Umm... We're busy doing comm-checks with Patrol #1 and #2."
Patrol #4: "Sorry, we're 'out' at Krispy Kreme."

... police is a much tougher job in many way than a soldier ... because they completely live within political influence ... We? most of the time.

This is the price that an influential politician play the "hate police" card ....

Sadly some younger individuals think they have the authority to establish new company policies.

This was not Dunkin Doughnuts fault or should they bare any flack from this. It would be like blaming the all police for one officers poor judgement. Now that employee should have his ass kicked.
