What do those intel nerds really do? What is your perception of the Military Intelligence Community? What can we do better?

I’ve seen a few negative comments on RallyPoint directed towards the MI Community and would like to hear what everyone truly thinks or what your experiences have been with us Intel nerds.

While not an "Intel Nerd" I am on special duty performing many duties of an "Intel Nerd".
All I can say is: "I could tell you but then I would have to kill you." :)

Those kids in the picture need great leadership in order to go from inexperienced to mastering the art of predictive analysis.

They have all they need to give a great prediction. Well it may not be accurate but still a great one. I miss reading some of the exercise traffic my 98Gs/35Ps would generate for us to do reporting and analysis on. The weapon used poop throwing monkeys made for a great battalion field exercise. The BN CO saw the message and had a sister battalion come carry out “poop” attacks on our site.

LOL! 1SG Steven Stankovich I think CI is the most misunderstood intel specialty and many times are underutilized!
