What courtesies are required when the Secretary of the Army walks into your office/building and how do you address him??

Are you currently in the military? If so you would do as is per military regulations. Out of respect, as a Veteran, I would call them Sir/Ma'am or Mr. or Ms. Secretary or along those lines. Just my personal opinion.

I think that I am part of a one-of-a-kind unit and the SoA did stop by my building. Never walked into my office, but the question was posed to me by a fellow soldier. I didn't know the answer, I turned to RP. What I wasn't looking for was condescending bullshit just because the rank says SPC. I thanked everyone in the earlier posting for their answers and moved on. Have a great day everyone.

Stand at Attention and address him as Sir would be appropriate. Unless he is a former officer, then the courtesy deserving would be correct.

I would think the same courtesies you would extend any officer. He/she would be addressed as "Sir," or "Ma'am," or "Mr./Ms. Secretary.
