I recently fail a pt test. My te enlistment window is now. Although I’m sure I can pass the next pt test i am flagged and I’m worried that I won’t be able to re enlist and the class. Also no one know when our next or test will be so any know if I’m SOL or is it, “ not a big deal?”

Of you are flagged, you are not eligible to reenlist. You must have passed your most recent APFT and it must be within 9 months.

CPL (Join to see) lol no, you're misreading that. E1 in that case refers to option 1 Regular Army Reenlistment of the option tables listed in the Appendix E of AR 601-280, which is why it's called E1. I admire your research attempt though.
If you're pay grade is E1 or E2 you are not eligible to reenlist, I point that out because your profile says PVT.
Trust me, I am a Career Counselor, I am the person who writes your reenlistment contracts. That picture in my profile is me winning the Career Counselor of the Year board at FORSCOM in 2013. I promise you, I will not give you bad information about reenlistment.

Thanks for the info. I guess my only question is, why then would I get approatby the retention nco? Either way I’m going to pass my run. I didn’t because of an injured ankle. Once I get unflagged I’ll be a pfc eventually I only have couple months as a Pv2 SSG (Verify To See)

CPL (Join to see) your retention NCO gets a list of names of people to talk to. It doesn't hurt to sit down with your career counselor now and make some future plans.

Your unit should be offering you the opportunity to retake the PT Test after some remedial training, not waiting for the next scheduled PT Test.
If you had an injured ankle, was it documented and you should have gotten a temporary profile.
The fact you are coming up on Reenlistment and are only a PV2 indicates there is more to the story.

Right now, stop worrying about reenlisting and/or re-classing and focus on passing your PT test. I'm sure you felt like you would be able to pass the PT test you failed as well, so don't be a bump on a log and prepare yourself for the next one. Once you get that squared away, then you have to get promoted to PFC before you can reenlist. Focus on those steps that will get you to be eligible to re-enlist.

You should be able to ask for a retest. If it is inside the window you may have to sign a waiver. Anyway, speak with your 1SG. Thank you for your service.
