Over 130 million Americans will have resolutions. Guess how many actually achieve them? Only 8%!

According to a recent study, 31 percent of them are money-related. The top financial resolution was to save more money (39%), followed by paying down debt (24.6%), improving spending habits (15.1%), investing more (11.6%), and getting a raise (11.3%).

There are important resolutions! Hopefully you have some good ones!

The yearly question.
I personally do not make resolutions. I try to stay ahead of the pack regularly. I try to read often to follow trends in the world and understand what is going on.
Just like the ARMY; if you are not reading as a Leader you cannot advise your Soldiers properly.

Some of the things stated in your post are obvious. Many talk about saving money but what re they doing to accomplish that goal.
Pay down debt, well just applying the bare minimum will not get it.

Many make fun of me because I drive an economical car and bring my lunch. I eat breakfast at the mess hall. I also do not smoke or drink. That is where I save tons of money regularly.

Good that you have accountability! there is an app called Pact that does the same thing. If you exercise, you get paid, if you don't you pay them!

This will be the year I learn to run with good form.
I don't know if it will knock any TIME off my runs, but hopefully make them not so much of a challenge. In addition to a timed 5K/month (last year's goal), I will be adding at least 1 5 miler and 1 10K to my lineup.
