A leg re-enlisting, wanting to go airborne and be part of an airborne unit. Chose station of choice should guarantee an airborne unit, an airborne unit should guarantee me being airborne en route.

No. You may reenlist for airborne training. You will receive a follow on assignment to an airborne unit 120 days prior to training start.
Re-enlisting for a duty station of choice will not put you into an Airborne unit if you’re not airborne qualified.

You can ask for an SF group being non airborne, and you would go to Airborne school. But as an 88M there are plenty of Airborne 88Ms to fill that slot, so your request would be denied

Don't you could get Bragg, but all legs were normally assigned to non- jump slot at HW Garrison. They deployed but weren't Airborne- didn't jump, get pay etc..
