What are the current 79S Career Counselor prerequisites?

Are there any 79S Career Counselors out there that know the current prerequisites to join your MOS? I'd like to continue my career in a specialty outside of the Infantry to gain experience in a field that may serve me better after the military. I served as a Recruiter for over four years and wanted to remain in the 79 CMF. I was unable to convert to 79R due to them closing the MOS to E-6(P) and E-7 while I was on my one year extension. I'm currently at nine months of Platoon Sergeant time and I'm curious if I would be required to complete my 24 months of KD time before applying, or if I could start the process to reclass before that time given I meet the prerequisites. I have twelve years time in service, almost a year time in grade, and received my Gold Recruiter Badge (I know this could help in the past). Any assistance would be appreciated.
