What are career highs and lows in your military service?

First high was as OIC of the military test ranges at Eglin AFB. Especially the heavy weapons testing. The flying, fishing, and SCUBA diving were great too.
Second high was as weapons controller in Viet Nam; very intense most of the time. Finally got to do what we had trained to do.
Didn't have any lows that I can recall, other than one deployment to Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA in November. Lord it was cold. We broke out our Arctic gear; you could see your breath and everything.
I had rotated from Da Nang RVN to Homestead AFB south of Miami, and was not accustomed to the cold.
