Were you in a National Guard unit and trained in an MOS and never used that MOS training while in the Guard? I was trained as an Armored Crewman but I never saw a day on tanks except for initial training.I spent most of my time as a track driver.

I have been a 12K (plumber) for 4 years and haven't touched a pipe wrench since AIT. It infuriates me especially since I'm an NCO and I'm supposed to be teaching my guys hope to do plumbing, but we never have plumbing missions

I was in 1-221 AR (NG OPFOR) in Las Vegas. They augmented NTC during AT. Imagine M1 trained hard chargers put in M113 Vismod BMP's.......Painful.
